Both Cottages are luxuriously appointed to cater for your every need away from home. Furnishings have been carefully curated to provide you with comfort as well as style. The cottages are designed as romantic couple’s retreats, but can also be configured for friends and family with zip and link beds. The cottages are in the same location and can be booked together. There are internal downstairs furnishings for four people in Low Fold and externally garden furniture for four at The Nook.
We welcome you with a hamper of mouth- watering local produce, along with basic necessities for refreshments after a long journey; Tea, Coffee, Sugar and Milk.
The kitchens are fully equipped with a dishwasher, hot tap, a full size oven with induction hob, fridge, microwave, toaster and ice machine. Kitchen amenities included; Tea towels, dishcloths and pan scrub, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, foil and clingfilm.
Wi-Fi, Smart TV, Blue tooth speaker, Games and local interest books are provided in both cottages. Low Fold has a log burner, with logs and kindling provided. The Nook has a high spec electric wood burner, where no logs are required.
The very best 800 thread count Egyptian cotton linen, along with feather and down duvets and pillows have been chosen to create sumptuous but tranquil bedrooms. Alternative hypoallergenic bedding is available on request. When nights are warm an oscillating fan is at hand.
Fluffy bathrobes, slippers and super soft towels are standard in our cottages. Hairdryers, body wash and amenity items are included. Both cottages have amazing bathrooms with large walk-in showers and underfloor heating. Low Fold has a large free-standing bath and The Nook enjoys a splendid double sink vanity unit. We are also pleased to offer a laundry service on request during your stay or at the time of booking.
Garden areas have been thoughtfully designed for privacy and comfort with a range of dining and comfortable seating in both cottages. Both cottages have private off road parking facilities for one car.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Low Fold Cottages. Tallentire village is very dog friendly with lots of nice dog walks. The Nook has a fully secured fenced garden whilst Low Fold enjoys a pretty courtyard enclosed with a low stone wall and 6 foot Portuguese laurels along with an additional wooden privacy screen if required.
