Welcome to Low Fold Holiday Cottages, established in August 2023. 

Our two boutique holiday cottages are nestled in the peaceful village of Tallentire, a stone’s throw from the beautiful Georgian town of Cockermouth on the edge of the Lake District National Park.

 

These 300 year old cottages have been renovated to the highest standards to create unique, idyllic retreats for the more discerning traveler. Our experience and understanding of deluxe stays along with our attention to detail and relaxed hospitality have earned us 100% Five star reviews.  
 

Perfect to escape to after a day exploring the peaks, valleys and lakes of this stunningly beautiful part of the world. You can be assured when booking one of our retreats that whether you want an action packed weekend, a relaxing week of wandering our beautiful towns and villages or an indulgent pampering experience our luxurious cottages will be the perfect back drop.

We were gifted the wonderful hand drawn and painted picture above of our family home with the two adjacent holiday cottages by one of our returning guests. We have been commended for giving a friendly but unobtrusive welcome, affording you the privacy of your cottage, but on hand if needed.  We would be delighted to welcome you to one of our much loved holiday homes.
